      choice of any clef and vocal range .

Range

The "adjust Range" option allows you to adjust each end of the range by up to a sixth in either direction... Raise both to practice your high notes or lower if your instrument has a downward extension.Adjust as necessary for any instrument not on the list.

Grades

Each time you click SIGHT-READING tune generator'MOZART'composes a new tune suitable for the chosen instrument and grade.
Threre are millions of tunes for each grade and they are not coptright so if you hit on a winner it's yours!

Preliminary grade tests have crotchets and minims and no accidentals ... easy tune
Diploma standard is designed to be a challenge to the professional player... hard and unpredictable

Music Size

Small is the default and will usually avoid scrolling the music.Use large print if the instrument makes it difficult to stand near the monitor.

Clefs

Treble,alto,tenor and bass clefs can be chosen (a warning is given if the choice is unusua l) . Brass instruments are assumed to be transposing in treble but not bass clef.

Tune Up

A=440 is sounded but can be adjusted in the range 430-450 Hz .
Options for different tuning note & for baroque ( lower ) pitch .

Fingerings

For all instruments
   are also linked
   to scales and sight-reading .

Metronome

Both a traditional metronome
and a programmable one that will cope with irregular time-signatures up to 63/8
and polyrhythms such as 5 notes in the time of 13
are included , and the sight-reading has its own built-in metronome .

Midi

Choice of 128 midi instrunents for playback .

Print M/S

Print your own manuscript paper ...
... up to 25 staves
group for single instrument / duet / keyboard / trio quartet etc.
thin / bold / extra bold
across or down the page .

Resolution

This option appears if the screen setting has insufficient pixels for best effect.If chosen it will hide the task bar and - if possible - resize the screen to 1024x768 pixels.Taskbar and settings will be restored at the end of the programme.

Hints

Brief hints on how to use Music @ Site are displayed on opening each window of the programme. They may be turned off and then accessed as necessary by right-clicking background .

Help

A short STUDY PLAN prefaces one or two pages of help for each window .
